L’été. Deux amis ont dansé toute la nuit en rave party. Au matin, ils doivent rentrer chez eux.

”Un matin d’été se donne comme un «after-math», une respiration; le temps d’après. Patrick Muroni saisit avec tendresse, doute et langueur cet instant incertain où tout semble encore possible. Alors que la fatigue gagne les corps, les rêves s’estompent doucement, les décisions peinent à se prendre. Il semble que rien ne se concrétisera plus. Filmé en 16 mm, proche des corps et des regards, un instantané sensuel et vaporeux. “

“Short films often present a fraction of time, a moment that passes briefly, leaving a mark in the sand. In A Summer Morning, Patrick Muroni captures just that using tight framing and lack of focus to create a hedonistic party atmosphere, in contrast to the loaded silence between two companions on a slow, reluctant dawn walk back to reality. “
